Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: August 19, 2026
Dent Menders (“Dent Menders,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit https://dent-menders.com (the “Site”), use the Site’s scheduling features, or otherwise communicate with us through the Site.
This Privacy Policy addresses our website and online scheduling practices. Separate repair authorizations, insurance documents, warranty terms, or other notices may apply when you bring a vehicle to Dent Menders or authorize repair work.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
When you schedule an appointment, contact us, or otherwise interact with the Site, you may provide your name, telephone number, email address, preferred appointment date and time, vehicle information, a description of the dent or hail damage, and the contents of your communications.
If you later ask us to assist with an insurance-related repair, you may also provide claim or coverage information through channels outside the Site.
Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Site, our website systems and service providers may automatically collect technical information such as your Internet Protocol address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, actions taken, access dates and times, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
Information Received From Service Providers
We may receive appointment and scheduling information from Calendly and technical, security, or usage information from website hosting, analytics, spam-prevention, and security providers used to operate the Site.
Sensitive Information
The Site is not designed to collect Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial account credentials, payment-card information, precise geolocation, health information, or other highly sensitive information. Please do not place that information in an appointment field or general website communication.
2. How We Use Information
We may use personal information to:
- Schedule, confirm, reschedule, or cancel in-person estimate appointments;
- Respond to questions and communications;
- Prepare for an in-person vehicle inspection;
- Communicate about requested services;
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
- Prevent misuse, fraud, or security incidents;
- Comply with legal obligations;
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
- Carry out other purposes disclosed when information is collected or that you authorize.
Submitting vehicle information through the Site does not produce or guarantee an estimate. Dent Menders must inspect the vehicle in person before providing a repair estimate.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site and its service providers may use cookies, browser storage, pixels, and similar technologies. A cookie is a small file stored on or accessed through your device.
Depending on the features active on the Site, these technologies may support essential website functions, remember settings, protect forms and scheduling tools, measure Site use, or load embedded third-party content.
Essential and Security Technologies
These technologies help the Site operate, protect against malicious activity, maintain sessions, and provide requested features.
Preference and Functional Technologies
These technologies may remember choices or support features such as an embedded appointment scheduler, map, video, or social-media content.
Analytics Technologies
When enabled, analytics technologies help us understand matters such as which pages are visited and whether the Site is functioning properly. We may use this information to maintain and improve the Site.
Third-Party Scheduling Technologies
The Site uses or links to Calendly for appointment scheduling. Calendly may collect information and use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy notice and cookie controls. Calendly’s current Privacy Notice is available at https://calendly.com/legal/privacy-notice.
We do not currently use personal information collected through the Site to serve targeted advertisements based on your activity across unrelated websites, and we do not sell personal information for money.
Managing Cookies
You can manage many cookies through your browser settings and, when displayed, the Site’s cookie-preference tool. Blocking some technologies may prevent parts of the Site, including embedded scheduling features, from working correctly.
Because there is not a single uniform standard for browser-based “Do Not Track” signals, the Site may not respond to every such signal. Where applicable law requires recognition of a valid universal opt-out signal, we will honor that signal as required.
4. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information to:
- Website hosting, maintenance, security, analytics, spam-prevention, communications, and scheduling providers that perform services for us;
- Professional advisers such as attorneys, accountants, and insurers;
- Government authorities or other parties when disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, or a valid request;
- Parties involved when necessary to protect the rights, safety, property, or security of Dent Menders, our customers, or others;
- Parties involved in a merger, sale, financing, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of the business; and
- Other parties at your direction or with your consent.
If you authorize Dent Menders to assist with an insurance claim or related repair arrangements, relevant information may be shared with or received from your insurance company, adjuster, rental provider, or another authorized participant as reasonably necessary for that service.
Those activities may also be governed by repair documents or other notices provided outside the Site.
We require service providers to handle personal information for the services they perform for us, subject to their contracts and applicable law. Third parties may also process information under their own privacy notices when you interact directly with their services.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to manage appointments and communications, maintain business and tax records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect against fraud or security incidents.
Retention periods vary based on the type of information, why it was collected, and applicable legal or operational requirements.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the personal information we maintain.
No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please use care when deciding what information to send online and do not submit highly sensitive information through scheduling fields or general website communications.
7. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
You may ask us to review, correct, or delete personal information associated with your website interaction, subject to our ability to verify the request and to legal or operational reasons that may require us to retain information.
Depending on where you live and whether a particular privacy law applies, you may also have the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your personal information;
- Access your personal information;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Request deletion of personal information;
- Obtain a portable copy of information you provided; and
- Opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising, or certain profiling.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right provided by applicable law.

We do not control those third parties or their privacy practices. Your interaction with a third-party service is governed by that party’s terms and privacy notice, and we encourage you to review them.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy as our Site, services, technology, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
